Gaseous Systems
Our Gaseous systems work in similar ways with inter gas reducing the oxygen and synthetic gas reducing the heat, removing the fires fuel.
How Gaseous Systems Work?
Upon activation the mechanism pierces the gas cartridge and pressurises the agent tank(s). This pressure forces the agent through the distribution lines and out of the nozzles onto the appliances, plenum, ducts, and the fire source. The chemical agent reacts with burning oils/fats to create a foam that smothers and cools the fire.
The system can also activate a building fire alarm system (using additional equipment like an Input/Output unit on an Addressable system) and integrate with fuel shut off systems (such as gas interlock) through integrated switches.
Each ANSUL R-102 Kitchen suppression system is custom engineered to meet individual customer needs and designed according to strict specifications approved by various organisations and underwriters.
All of APG-C’s gas suppression systems are designed, installed, commissioned and maintained under the requirements of BS EN 15004-1:2008, including the relevant sub-regulation particular to the agent being utilised. APG-C are also BAFE SP203-3 Registered.
