Emergency Light Testing
We have experts in emergency lighting installation with dedicated maintenance teams on hand for testing and repairs when necessary.
Why is Emergancy Lighting important?
Emergency lighting is designed to provide illumination during an emergency when the primary power supply is interrupted, and standard lighting fails. This disruption in mains electricity could occur due to a power outage or a fire. Without emergency lighting, sudden darkness could pose significant risks to occupants, including physical harm or panic.
Emergency lighting systems are typically required to function automatically, delivering adequate illumination to ensure that all occupants can safely evacuate the building. In most new constructions, emergency lighting is integrated during the building process, with the architect selecting the design and equipment in compliance with current Building Regulations and any local authority mandates.
